Stop Spinning: Mindfulness Workshop

You want to work on your dissertation, but your mind is stuck on the same old worries and doubts and concerns and frustrations and…

Instead of digging a “brain rut” by repeating these thoughts ad nauseum (pun intended ;-), what can you do?

“Mindfulness” is a meditative technique emerging as a solid approach to changing these mental (and brain) pathways.

I received a notice in my email about a free one-hour workshop happening Friday, 25 Sept 2008 that might be interesting to explore if you don’t already have an acquaintance with the mindfulness approach. This workshop is not affiliated with my dissertation coaching services, but seemed like a great free resource….

Karen,

Thank you for the information on the mindfulness class! I am very interested in learning more about this topic. Unfortunately, I will be on the road traveling next Friday and unable to telephone at noon. I am hoping the session will be recorded and have emailed Sheila with this question. If anyone else attends the session please let me know your thoughts.
